What is an RODI System?
The RODI system I utilize employs a six-stage filtration process. It draws tap water via a spigot on the house, regardless of its hardness, to purify and cleanse it. RODI systems are specifically engineered to eliminate impurities such as minerals, salts, and other contaminants from water, yielding high-quality purified water similar to distilled water.
Why a water fed pole?
Water-fed poles are equipped to receive purified water from the RODI system, simplifying the task of cleaning solar panels and ensuring a flawless, spotless finish.
What are the benefits?
Water, in its natural state, contains impurities that need to be removed to achieve purity. Two methods, or a combination thereof, are commonly employed for this purpose: reverse osmosis and deionization.
Reverse osmosis functions by forcing water through a membrane filter under pressure, which traps impurities on one side while allowing purified water to pass through to the other side.
Deionization, also known as demineralization, involves replacing positively charged metallic ions (like calcium and magnesium) with hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, respectively, resulting in the production of pure water.
By employing these processes, it is possible to eliminate up to 99% of sediment and minerals from regular water, yielding water that is virtually free of contaminants.
This purified water is highly effective for cleaning solar panels, ensuring they are efficiently and quickly cleaned to achieve a spot-free, sparkling finish.

We had a problem with pigeons nesting under the solar panels. Tim came out, assessed the situation. He removed several nest sites, 7 dead birds and approximately 150 lbs of feces. We also had him clean the solar panels, but it was just done, so I won't know about the efficiency increase for a little while. After cleaning the bird debris he completely cleaned the patios underneath. He also advised me to cover the patio furniture, bbq and A/C unit during the process to prevent any contamination. Tim was very communicative and concerned for my time and my property. We highly recommend him.

Tim cleaned the roof, gutters, and solar panels, also adding bird guard to the solar panels. It took about four days. Mainly because of the mess on the roof from all of the pigeons. The solar panels are finally up to efficiency now. He did a really good job and was pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend him.
